Information

The Silverland Inn & Suites offers 7 distinct areas for your meeting and group needs.  With the ability to support groups of 5 to over 1,000 persons, the Silverland is the largest venue in Virginia City.  A description of these areas is indicated below:

Banquet Room

The Banquet Room is conveniently located in our Basement with easy access by stairs or elevator and in close proximity to restrooms and the outside. It is equipped with it's own heating/cooling controls and access can be restricted.  Furniture layout is flexible with round or rectangular tables.

Bar/Foyer Area

Located just outside the Banquet Room, the Bar/Foyer Area is the entrance way into the Banquet Room and to the outside Patio Area.  This area is used in conjunction with the Banquet Room but can be used separately.

Capacity

  • Chairs Only: 75

  • With Chairs & Tables: 50

  • Standing Room Only: 100

Breakfast Room

This room is located on the first floor and is also used for providing complimentary coffee, tea, juice, and other beverage service to our hotel guests.  It is a great location for a small gathering.

  • Standing Room Only: 160

With Virginia City hosting over 1 million visitors each year and a large percentage requiring meeting facilities for weddings, reunions, conferences, seminars, and other group activities, securing the necessary space and facilities as early as possible is the best way to guarantee you and your guests have a place to meet.  With meeting space, catering, liquor service, complimentary WiFi, and audio-visual support, the Silverland Inn & Suites can service your meeting needs.

If you are just looking for a block of rooms for you and your guests, a contract is also required for 10 or more rooms as is a valid charge card and a non-refundable deposit.  Additional information about setting up a room block can be obtained by clicking here.

 

Patio Area

The Patio Area is located outside and adjacent to the Bar/Foyer Area.  It is a great location for an evening event or as outside access to users of the Banquet Room and/or Bar/Foyer Area.

  • Standing Room Only: 300

Back Outside Area

The Back Outside Area is the perfect open space for large weddings, concerts, or other events requiring a large amount of space. Located on nearly an acre of land, it can be furnished with tents, a stage, external lighting, fencing, or whatever the venue may require.

  • Standing Room Only: 1,000+

Southend Parking Lot

This paved asphalt area is a great location for vendor booths, entertainment offerings, tents, or any other area requiring a large amount of space on a paved surface.

  • Standing Room Only: 1,000+

Outside Gazebo Area

Located just outside the main entrance to the hotel, the Gazebo area includes a gazebo, a grassy area, and a paved picnic area.  Perfect for small, intimate outdoor weddings or other group gatherings, it provides a picture perfect view to the East.

  • Chairs Only: 200 in front of the Gazebo
